GYOPO is a volunteer-powered nonprofit that organizes free public programs and projects connected to diasporic Korean arts and culture in Los Angeles and beyond.
GYOPO received general operating support, and support for upcoming programs with a distinct emphasis on the Ssi Ya Gi project—a multidisciplinary initiative that blends artistic, social, & environmental practices, aiming to sustain impactful arts programming, expand resources for BIPOC artists, & advance climate-awareness through culinary, land, literary, & visual art practices.
